The Coding & Reimbursement Committee monitors new decisions and policies from the AMA and insurance payers and serves as a resource for MAA members on billing and coding topics.

The Continuing Education Committee plans and promotes educational growth opportunities for audiologists, and maintains positive relationships between the Academy and the businesses which support and sponsor audiologists.

Government Relations Committee

The Government Relations Committee plans, supports, and promotes legislative and non-legislative activities as they pertain to Minnesota audiologists, scope of practice, reimbursement, and public safety.

The Sponsorship Committee creates and grows funding sources so that the organization can effectively fulfill its mission and serve its membership. This is accomplished through cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with the businesses that support and sponsor audiologists.

Social Media Support
Are you active on the socials? We could use one or two people to post and monitor our Facebook presence. 

Communications & Publications Co-Chair
Work with the existing, experienced chair. The position is most active Dec/Jan, April/May, Aug/Sept as we collect and edit the newsletter content.

Sponsorship Chair
Our current Sponsorship Committee members are looking for someone to step into the leadership role. This position involves a very light time commitment throughout the year, with November being an important time to work in conjunction with the Continuing Education Committee to be sure we have support for UMAC.

Openings on CE
The Continuing Education Committee is calling for 3-4 additional members. This committee best runs with about a half-dozen individuals who share small tasks in preparation for UMAC.

Auction Items Needed
We can always use more help soliciting donations for the Gloria Gross Silent Auction. We have a sample "ask" letter we can provide. Most of this work is done December through February.
