About Us

In Fall of 2009, current and former leadership of the Minnesota Academy of Audiology (MAA) formed a retreat. One outcome of those activities was new vision and mission statements that reflected the current focus and goals of the organization. As with all organizations, the work of the MAA is constantly evolving and these statements reflect the maturity and growth that is part of the serving audiologists in Minnesota.

Academy Vision Statement

The Minnesota Academy of Audiology represents and promotes excellence in advancing hearing and balance healthcare in the profession of audiology in Minnesota.

Academy Mission Statement

The Minnesota Academy of Audiology is committed to developing and supporting audiologists. This is accomplished through leadership in legislative advocacy, best practices, high ethical standards and education of members, healthcare professionals and the public.
