Member-at-Large
Bailey Cole received her AuD from the University of Minnesota (UMN). She completed her externship at M Health Fairview in 2018. After her externship, she began working as an audiologist at M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center - Minneapolis where she provides diagnostic, hearing aid, and cochlear implant services.
Bailey says, "During graduate school, I saw the importance of getting involved outside of classes and clinical work. I served as the President and Activities Officer of the Student Academy of Audiology – UMN Chapter. I coordinated the involvement of UMN audiology services in the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic, which serves community members with unmet needs. I also organized philanthropic activities for the group to participate in, such as the Hearing Loss Association of America’s Walk4Hearing and Feed My Starving Children. I had the opportunity to see the great work of the Minnesota Academy of Audiology (MAA) through my time as the student liaison with the Board of Directors.
"In 2021, I was asked to be a Board Member at Large on the Scientific and Professional Education Board for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). During my three-year term, I worked with the ASHA Professional Development team to monitor progress toward achieving member service and revenue goals. I also provided guidance in the development and delivery of courses for ASHA members, including ASHA’s Learning Pass and the annual ASHA Convention.
"Most recently, I have been excited to get more involved with MAA again, serving on the Membership Development Committee since 2024. I am honored to have been nominated to run for the Board of Directors as a Board Member at Large. I would bring commitment, teamwork, eagerness to learn, and passion to this role in order to continue to grow our organization." Resume
